This drivetrain eliminates the front and rear derailleur, the idler and cassette along with other associated parts. Using a bicycle chain without a derailleur yet still being able to change gears has been limited to internal hub type gear boxes. All these types of transmissions and any other for that matter, are not as effective as a pure chain driven drivetrain as the derailleur’s dominance in the global bicycle market attests.

This is a new “type” of drivetrain that retains the use of the bicycle chain but controls and interacts with it in a manner, that allows the chain to expand and contract gradually about the respective axis of rotation in the transfer of power from the rider to the rear wheel. This action will allow you to finely tune your own effort, permitting the easiest ride possible.
